Terms of Service

1. Nature of the Platform

Relator Connect is an online marketplace that allows individuals seeking professional representation services to connect with licensed service providers.

We are:

• ✕ NOT a real estate brokerage
• ✕ NOT an agent or representative
• ✕ NOT involved in negotiations
• ✕ NOT a party to any transaction
• ✕ NOT responsible for contracts between users

All agreements occur directly between users.

2. No Commission or Referral Fees

We charge licensed professionals a flat subscription fee for access to the Platform.

We do NOT:

• ✕ Take a percentage of commissions
• ✕ Collect referral fees
• ✕ Participate in transaction proceeds

3. Professional Compliance

Licensed professionals are solely responsible for:

• • Maintaining valid licensing
• • Complying with provincial and federal laws
• • Following brokerage policies
• • Ensuring advertising compliance
• • Properly documenting any commission rebate

We do not verify regulatory compliance beyond basic onboarding information.

4. No Guarantee

We do not guarantee:

• ✕ Savings
• ✕ Commission rebates
• ✕ Successful transactions
• ✕ Accuracy of user-submitted content

Platform is provided "as is".

5. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• ✕ Post false or misleading information
• ✕ Impersonate licensed professionals
• ✕ Violate applicable laws
• ✕ Harass or defraud other users

We reserve the right to suspend accounts.

6. Disputes Between Users

Any dispute between users must be resolved directly between them. We are not liable for:

• • Transaction disputes
• • Commission disagreements
• • Contractual issues
• • Regulatory violations by users

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law:

Relator Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

Maximum liability is limited to subscription fees paid in the previous 3 months.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and Canada.
